Hobbits village defence

This was a scene I set up for a convention wargame. The palisaded village was build and painted by me (excluding the huts). ( See Gaulic Village in my gallery). The Hobbits were actually Essex 15mm Ostrogoths. They were so small in comparison with my other 15mm miniatures that I decided to paint them up as Hobbits. The road leads to an outhouse which is there incase anybody gets desperate.
